People often confuse between CVs and resumes — there’s a notable difference between the two. A CV contains entire information about your profile, experiences, qualifications, etc, whereas a resume is made specifically to highlight those skills that fit the job profile you are applying for.

To avoid this confusion, we have termed it ‘Full Resume’ at GrowVation, which acts as the last key that opens the doors leading to your dream job!

After looking through your uploaded projects and ranks on the Leaderboard, the recruiters will want to take a look at the last and one of the most important things your profile provides — Your Full Resume.

In this Resume, you have to include all the details regardless of their relevance to the job profiles you’re interested in. Skills, Interests, Experience, Educational Qualifications and most importantly, a summary that describes you the best; it should include all of them.

In fact, it is possible that your Full Resume would seal the deal while you get an offer from a company on GrowVation. Thus, it needs to contain all the authentic information about you that the company must know, which they can verify later through tests or interviews.

First of all, the template you use for your resume should be good on the eyes and easy to read. The more organised it is, the better impression you have on the recruiters.

  • Summary: This is something that describes you in short. Here, you can mention your soft skills and other qualities that add to your personality and skills. This gives your recruiter a basic idea about you and also is telling about how you’ll fit in the company’s culture.
  • An Image that would help in identifying you should be a part of the Document.
  • Educational Qualifications: This gives the recruiters an idea about the consistency you’ve maintained since childhood. This is an important thing to add in your CV; it mainly decides your eligibility for the job you’ll be getting.
  • Interests:This is an informative section of your Resume. This adds to your personality and gives an impression of your aptitude and passion.
  • Skills: Another important section of your Full Resume — an expansion of the Top 3 skills you have mentioned in GrowVation’s Portfolio. The recruiters learn about the skills you possess, no matter if you’re a beginner at it. If you possess a combination of skill-sets that are highly beneficial to them, it might increase your chances of getting hired.
  • Experience: This gives meaning to the skills you mention in your Resume, and adds colours to your career life so far. It can be just your internships, freelancing and other projects you’ve tried your hands on so far.

GrowVation hopes for you to get the best of opportunities at our platform!
